Process- Digital Journalism
Starting
This right here is the last mission that we were to complete for the end of Semester 1 and Shaun had given us the genre of Methodology to look into and in that we had the option to do either:

Digital Journalism formats are split in 12 different categories:
There were three goals given and I decided to move forward with this particular one:To Create your own multimedia, multi-modal journalistic piece telling the story of the question or topic you investigated.
With this I got in a group with Eamon and Killian to do this topic on well we were a bit late to group with each other since either most people had already formed a group or had already been with each other. And like the other missions we made a WhatsApp group chat and Eamon named it Digital Journalism where we obviously discussed the mission. I was kind of excited for this mission mostly because of the video and editing process with our ideas also because in the group Eamon was in before he had some pretty good ideas according to my friend Francis that was in the group with him.

- Networks
- Mapping
- Digital Journalsim
- Image Visualisation
- Text Analysis
Looking at all of the choses and reading lightly through them all I went with the topics of Digital journalism because the other topics kind of seem a bit hard for me or I just wasn't up for it.
- vertical video; often with captions, pioneered by AJ+ and NowThis
- Horizontal *Stories; swipeable cards like Snapchat Stories and its clones
- Longform scroll telling; evolved from the original NY Times Snowfall
- Structured news; like the original Circa or the reusable cards at Vox.com
- Live blogs; frequently used for big events
- Listicles; like Buzzfeed
- Newsletters and briefings; which seem to be on trend right now
- Timelines; which I expected to be more common
- Bots and chat; from the chat-styled Qz app to the many attempts to deliver news within chat apps
- Personalised; which typically is used to filter the choice of stories, rather than the story itself
- Data visualisation; from graphs to interactive
- VR and AR
I decide to do Digital Journalism only because that more so caught my interest more than the other topics that we given and also with the fact that we had to make a video Digital Journalism made more sense to me for the video making. With these options of the different Digital Journalism formats I decided to go with the Personalised format video as I had the choice to personalise the video in away i wanted. Having doing the Personalised format I either had to do it in a multimedia piece or a multimodal piece.
I decide to go with the Multimodal piece. - Multimedia:A combination of text, still photography, video clips, audio and graphics.
- Multimodal:A creativity for both teacher and students combination with text, audio and images
