Reflection-The Internet of Things

Presentation

Coming towards the day of the presentation day again we split the work in three ways and added a little more where I did the Meaning of IoT and the pros and cons, Ania did the mind map and examples then Sam did the history and the questionnaire. Sam did the questionnaire on Survey Monkey in which over 60 people fill out the questionnaire.Finding information about the IoT was actually quite interesting as I learned about how the future will change with all the advanced Internet and Electronics and how it would change people cities and things.

In the Monkey Survey there were questions such as :

• Have you ever been a victim of a cyber criminal attack?
• Do you use public networks?
• How many devices do you own that connects to the internet?
• Do you feel safe using a devices?

Answers

• 68%think that online safety will improve in the future and 31% don't
• 85% haven't been involved in cyber criminal attacks
• 81% use public networks
• 38% have 5 or more devices connected to the internet and 0% have below 5
• 62% feel safe using a devices

We decided to do the whole presentation on Microsoft Powerpoint and Sam decided to share the link with me and Ania.We successfully finished the whole Powerpoint in a couple days with Me and Ania changing the looks of the presentation and we also had to collect the information from Sam on the questionnaire of Monkey Survey because he had work a couple time we just had to wait for him, but we are satisfied with what we have made. Going to the lab the Youtubing group set high standard for Sean as their own was the best coming from Sean and we had to either present 2nd or 3rd because Sam had work. We went second and our presentation was in our option better than the other Internet of Things presentation.


Sean did say our presentation was good but we kind of lost track on where we were going and the reason for that is we just presented what we thought we knew because he did say do it on something we don't know and thats what we did. Sean said our grade was a Satisfactory but also wasn't a Satisfactory.
